Seasonal PositionsTent Installers

We are seeking hard workers to assist in the installation of our tents and deliver rental items. These positions are physically demanding and require an attention to detail.  Job involves travel throughout Vermont, upstate NY and occasionally NH and Massachusetts. Set up tents, deliver furniture and related rental equipment for weddings, festivals, parties, etc. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. 30-55 hours a week. We work seven days a week. Days off are provided, but not on a set basis. Position starts in the first week of May and ends in November.

Event Crewmember

Vermont Tent Company is looking to fill Event Crewmember positions. These positions are part-time, 20-30 hours per week, involving sorting, cleaning and preparation of event rental equipment. This position will specifically involve equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, grills, linen, silverware and china, Etc. This position requires an attention for detail and the ability to distinguish between similar looking equipment.  We work seven days a week. Days off are provided, but not on a set basis.
Warehouse Labor

Wash and repair tents, tent sides, tables, chairs, etc. each time they come back dirty, wet or damaged. This position is physically demanding and requires focus and accuracy. This position has a set schedule; 8am-5pm M-F, Saturday 7:30-12 noon as work requires. May also involve some warehouse upkeep and requirement to pull equipment and load into customer's vehicle.

2^nd Shift Truck Loading

Load tent and event rental equipment on delivery trucks for all tent jobs from May to November. This position is physically demanding and requires accuracy and focus while loading equipment. Hours are 2pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday with occasional Sunday hours depending on rental demand.
